HOTHESS was founded in early 2018 as a collaboration between two different but perfectly connected persons — Markéta &  Jakub 

From the very beginning, our ambition went further than design alone. We never wanted to be just another studio delivering visuals and handing them over to someone else for production.

Instead, we invested in our own technologies, went through extensive development, and built the know-how needed to produce the products we design.

The goal was simple: to create one complete system under one roof.

A place where a client can come with an idea — and leave with a finished solution.

Design, development, production, and delivery — all handled in one place, without compromises, without fragmentation, and without the need to coordinate multiple suppliers.

This approach allows us to maintain full control over quality, consistency, and functionality, while ensuring that everything works together as one unified identity — visually and technically.

Founder & Managing Director

Markéta leads HOTHESS both strategically and operationally. She is responsible for business development, client communication, and the overall direction of the brand.

With a background as a former model and MotoGP grid girl, she brings a deep understanding of presentation, brand perception, and detail. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in apparel production, garment development, and commercial operations, ensuring that every product not only looks strong but also performs and fits exactly as intended.

Markéta is the main point of contact for clients and the driving force behind how HOTHESS works as a company.

Jakub.

Creative Director & Motorsport Design Lead

Jakub’s journey into design started in childhood, creating custom car liveries for the game Richard Burns Rally. What began as a passion evolved into a professional career deeply rooted in motorsport.

Before conetting to HOTHESS, he worked in various roles across racing teams — including marketing, social media, logistics, and team management. This hands-on experience gives him a unique understanding of how teams operate under pressure and what design solutions actually work in real racing environments.

Jakub leads all creative output — from race car liveries and teamwear to complete visual systems for racing teams and brands.
